how rare is this bike...I love it..is it worth 300.00? I really don't know a lot about the Schwinns....
note...it has brand new brick walls on it as well...

All origional extreme patina 1940's Schwinn balloner. I have done a full mechanical rebuild and she rides great. This bike has alot of great patina she's a real trooper still wants to go riding.

Do you think it's worth $300.00( canadian which is about $260.. american )

Maybe it is worth it. I got this one for Sale for $55+ shipping. I paid $55 for this at a swap meet but realize I will never get to it. If your interested, lmk.

It has the proper front sproket and chaingaurd the one I am looking at needs.

If you like it...and have the ca$h for a bike you can jump on and ride. Y-not.
Also if you bought it from thEbay you'd have to factor shipping into the price.

Dumpster, on your bike: how are the wheels and rear hub(s2's?), will they need a complete rebuild?

Yeah, I think, The parts move but are old. The front sounds like it'll need all new parts but that is cheaper than the rear. THanks

Looks to be DX model. Fenders $100.00 Straight struts $50.00 to $100.00 When you can find them. Rack appears to be even older, and may be worth $$$ also. Could restore completely for around $400.00 and be worth around $1,000.00 at the right market. The fact that its all there is worth alot ! My 49 wais pretty much bare bones I paid $150.00 Shipped.
