Schwinn Heavy Duti

Hi, Schwinn Heavy Duti from Belgium.

My favourite ride, 15000 km, super comfy. Those schwalbes roll like a dream.

Basket made from extremely durable hardwood, (don't know which kind, used in ponds),
riveted, used about 170 of them with alu square tubing for weight.
I don't use the lid, not very practical when shopping.

The steering dampener has to go because i'm getting too much comment about its wrong colour.

Very nice, I like that vintage look. This bike is playing with my mind, a modern fork, modern crank, but the frame looks older.

Cool rig, I like the damper, you can use oven cleaner to remove the annodizing, then just polish with Mother's or whatever the Belgian equivalent is.

I work on these Heavy Duti bikes all the time none of them look that good. Very Nice!!
