I picked up several schwinn heavy duti bikes. I redid this one and it turned out pretty good. The bikes are made for plants and schwinn puts a little extra in them to make them ride really good. I'm not sure if its the bearings or the gearing or both but the make for a good ridding cruiser. So everybody tell me what ya think.

Well, I'm partial to the paint scheme...he he.

It turned out awesome!

Only recommendation would be to lose the reflectors and lower the stem some.

I didnt do anything to this frame ,but its a for sale bike is why it has reflectors . If you lower the stem it looks better ,but it dosent ride as good . thought about the small mini apes i have ,but not everybody likes them. Most times i give whoever buys it a choice of any of the other parts I have for them...that is if they dont try to buy it too cheap.ha ha

looks good !!! if your doing a few, i dont think it really "needs" the scallop on the fork legs, but it is a nice touch. the only other thing I myself would have done is remove the bottle cage mounts, but thats just me. shouldnt hve any trouble movin a bike like that though

I dont know why schwinn puts the stupid cage holder on there anyway. i figured someone might actually want to stick one on there. the scallops on the front forks was an after thought because it looked so white. probably should have just done a diamond or something.

looks great. Did you manually mask it?
Yeah I dont take too much pains with them because they are for sale but they look better with some other color on them . I'm getting faster at doing them with masking tape. Tried that blue but it falls off too easy. Found if you peel the tape towards what you just painted it makes a better line.

I built this heavy duti just recent and sold it on a request for someone after three weeks later. I texted the owner and made him a trade offer for it back. Going to change some things on it continental tires, two piece cranks. Got it back yesterday.

Love it Uncle, clean and simple.
The idea of building a bike like this for my self has been in my mind for some days now... makes me wanna go home and play with a similar one I have...
so thanks for the inspiration!

good tip on tape peeling, I´ll be trying that
