I would like to try to do a serial chart for the pre-48 Schwinns.

I'll need everyone with an early Schwinn to send me the serial number with the known date of manufacture, I'll take it from there.

You should start a new thread if you seriously want people to send you their pre-'48 numbers. It would be a great project that really needs to be explored. I have a '41 D96XE-1 with serial #I-10277. I also have a '41 BA-107-1 with serial #H-28926. Gary
