help me out fellas. i did search first, but only found 1/2 the answer.
heres my situation: i had a '48 schwinn(its now deorman cruizer) i kept the wheels off it because i wanted to use the rims on another bike.
the rear hub is a ND 2spd and i cannot see any marking on the front hub.
i cant find any markings on the rims. before i cut the rims loose id like to make sure i can use 'e. and theyre not weird(S-5 or S-7) that i need some hard to find dry rotted old tire.
how can i be sure?

dang it! why didnt i think of that? cause im a dope
i did measure and compare w/ some early 50s JCH rims i have and theyre almost identical.
ill try mounting a tire on 'em tonite.
thanx

I think that if the Higgins rims are almost identical, you already have your answer...
