Were these ever reproduced later on like stingrays and crates? or if I look at one am I looking at an original?

Thanks,
Dan

No reproduction of the "stingray - slik chik" but they (Pacific Schwinn) recycled the name. and i think they recently got discontinued again, they were 26" single speed coaster bikes, some were blue with pinstripes and non removable tank, another version later version was blue with sunflowers on it. they had racks and a fender light on them too i believe. i also believe the spelling "slik chik" was changed to "slik chic" on these bikes too. this is not the gospel, its just what my brain is spittin up.

if its a 20" with a banana seat, it should be a 60's stingray.

they may have put the name on a newer kids bike too but i havent seen one

Thanks guys. Was responding to a CL add and needed info. Blurry pic showed a vintage Slik Chik, but it was advertised as a 90s bike. I had an hour drive, so I wanted to be sure. It is in fact a 66 Violet slik chik. Original seat and sissy bar gone, but still has a rear slick! A bit rough, but I shelled out the $15!

Here it is. I'm gloming the Slick for my 67 Stingray! This is for my youngest daughter. Plans include new tires, a somewhat original seat and bar, and a three speed conversion.
