Schwinn Slimline tank horn Q?

I recently got a Slimline tank for my early '60's Jag (Restored 20 years ago,last piece) from a cool member on here.

The horn unit is Oxford (Made In Japan)...Is this correct?

I thought they were all Delta.

Its a single D cell like this

The only one I ever had was a made in Japan unit as well. I suppose there could have been a Delta unit (not sure) but at any rate that ia a hard horn to come by! They regularly fetch as much and often more than the two cell unit. Be glad you have one! Be really glad if it works! :wink:

The horn works...but the switch/button is missing.

The whole unit is about rust free.

I just need the horn switch/button to make it complete...Any sources?

Its about a 3/8" hole.

Not that I'm aware of, maybe you can get lucky on E-pay. Like I said, thats a hard one to come by.
