Hi
What's the opinion on Schwinn Spoiler's ?
Im having abit of a buying spree at the moment and have been looking at one of these thats spares or repairs... thought it might make a nice project

heavy, well built, expensive when introduced and never caught on. Probably destined to become the modern "Crate".

Love my Spoiler! It's heavy, slow, and the best attention getter on the street. When you're out on the Spoiler, people will pull their cars over and ask you about the bike. You will draw a crowd wherever you park it. It's definitely just a path cruiser, but the cool factor is so high on this bike that you'll swear it's the most fun you've had on two wheels. If you get one, look into getting the Sturmey Archer SXRK3 three-speed hub. It makes all the difference in the world. There is a good Spoiler owners' group on Facebook, too. I say, "Go for it!"

I picked up a Spoiler springer chopper fork recently on a RRB trade. VERY well made and it looks slicker than bat guano!!!

Here's mine. I've made a few changes to the stock bike. The three speed, and seat came from Choppers US. I modified a sissy bar bracket from an OCC seat pan to fit the Choppers US saddle. The bars came from my old Dyno Moto 7. Those small additions more than double the comfortable cruising range of the stock bike. I've done 20+ mile rides on this one with no trouble.
