Schwinn SS Sport
Just got back from picking this one up. Yes, it is a Chinese Schwinn. But it is a step about the WalMart Schwinn. More of a lower end LBS bike.
Here is the CL photo. Too dark for my own photos. I will post some tomorrow.
This bike has some nice details to it and I love the red Schwinn Typhoon Cord tires with the flat gray paint.

First weekend in a llllloooooooonnnnnnngggggg time that it is less than 90 outside (actually pleasant 70s today).
My wife and I went for a bike ride and I took the Schwinn SS Sport. I haven't even cleaned it up or anything. You can tell it was well cared for and rarely used. Nice riding bike. One thing that is unusual is the hollow bottm tank becomes an echo chamber, so any road noise that the front half of the bike makes is amplified.

I really like this color scheme and I received a few complements as we road through the park.

Like I said there are some nice nods to the past on this bike. Grips, forks, pedals, tires, stem, etc.

You could probably slide a piece of hard foam up into the hollow tank. That should take care of any noise it makes.

The paint scheme on that one is pretty sweet.

Liking the black wheel set and the red tire combo a lot.
