Schwinn Step-Through custom trike

So my MOM just bought this.. [no, its not a pair of combat boots..]
Schwinn Step Through Made into a Trike

License reads 1988-222

Serial on Frame [I assume left dropouts] read:
C66058

Any info regarding the frame would be great. I assume it to be early to mid Sixties.
I know the wheels arent original, and the headlights not stock. [obviously neither are the tires..etc..]
