I was at a Civil War reenactment here in my town this afternoon. After the battle, spectators roamed the campsite talking to some of the reenactors. When out of the corner of my eye I spotted a group of kids on BMX bikes. I was surprised to see one of them riding an early 80's Schwinn Sting. I'm not a big BMX fan, but I would love to have one of those things. It must have been a day for old bikes, because before the battle I saw a guy riding on old straight bar cruiser down the street. I hardly see anything here in town besides mountain bikes and Wal Mart cruisers so it was cool to see some neat rides...besides my own!

we went low riding on the weekend(around down town) it was the maiden voyage of my 67 stingray.

i dont usually see old bikes or customs riding around london, but we counted over 30 vintage rides and ran into 5 customs (choppers, low riders etc.) thats excluding the townies, electra's, gt cruisers etc. vintage rides seem to be all the craze lately. even alot of the bike companies are going back to thier roots.

I followed the build on your custom. That is a sweet ride. I think what I like most is that you can see the Sting-Ray in there. I wish there were more classic rides in my neeck of the woods. It seems that all the bikers are into road bikes or mountain bikes. It's be nice to have a Sting-Ray posse to run with!

I have a schwinn sting frame , but i dont want to sell it. are those pictures of your stings or just web shots I love the white!
