Schwinn T&C question

Can 26" wheels fit and ride smoothly on a Schwinn Town & Country rear set up? Or will it rub?

The Town and Country is a 26x 1 3/8 wheeled trike isn't it? You can probably run 26 x 1.75 tires and wheels on the rear. Try it on one side if you have a 26" cruiser or mtn bike wheel laying around?

The Town & Country rear wheels read 24s but I'll have my buddy bring over his mtn bike and try the 26s.
