Sorry if this has been covered 25 times already.....

Will a phantom style tank from a 26" cantilever frame fit or work on a 24" cantilever frame? I've got plans for a 24" Fleet I have but don't want to get to far into it if it's not going to work. Thanks!
 
No, it won't fit. You need the 24" tank, which is kind of rare and pricey. The Fleet had a hanging tank, not the full size Phantom style. I would imagine a 24" hanging tank is also rare and pricey but not sure. Gary

Now that I've thought about it some more, how much larger is a 26" tank than a 24"? This wouldn't be for an accurate restoration. Its going on a custom build. If the tank half is evenly larger by a percentage rather than say the tail being longer, I think I could still get it to work the way I want. Is there any place online that has outline measurements comparing the two?
