schwinn & western flyer finds for today

Went out intending to look at a couple bikes at a rust shop in town and they ended up only having one that was to new for what Ive been looking for so I stopped by another shop on the way home knowing this guy had some old bikes that he dont set out for the public and this is what I came home with.
This one is a 68 western flyer Buzz Bike that I plan on just getting rideable for now, and will fix up later

And the other is a 24 inch schwinn. havent dated it yet. but put air in the tires and rode it around the house a few times

Thanks, hope by the end of the day the buzz bike will be rideable and from the date codes I have the schwinn is either a 55 or 57

Both my sons called dibs on both bikes as soon as they seen them after school

Man that Schwinn looks like new! Is it original paint? You scored big time. Just change the seat and you're good.

It looks to be factory paint the fenders are dinged up but nothing that cant be worked out. It is a much later mesinger seat but it will do for now, It looks to be a 55 spitfire from the pics Ive seen
