Scooter drum front hub??

I have a chance to pick up a couple Old school yamaha 2 cycle scooters that have drum brake front hubs, my question is can the hubs be swapped over to 26 in cruiser hoops

First thing to look for is how many spokes the drum wheel takes. I would take the hub to the local bike shop and see if their wheel builder thinks it can be done.
