First off you will have to shoot me as I had no time for picks, My friday run I picked up a Columbia Mt bike, nothing special except the thumb shifters and the derailer ans a couple other parts are Columbia scripted, then the real score from a certain bike junkyard , Bendix kickback blue stripe on a 20 inch schwinn wheel 5 acs hubbed anodized araya wheels and also a box of annodized brake levers and calipers and a very vintage bmx frame guessing 70's pics to come later.....

Well here's the mystery frame, frame numbers are I70889 with a 20889 below that,

I'm no expert, but based on the drops and the gusset on that frame I'd guess that it's a mid 70s AMF. Same company that owned both Rollfast and Harley Davidson. Cheap, but still pretty cool... Can't find any pics of anything exactly like it, but late 70/ early 80s AMF BMX bikes had a very similar gusset, and I'm pretty sure that early-mid 70s AMF muscle bikes like the Renegade had those dropouts. Looks like sort of a hybrid between the muscle bike era and the BMX era, or an early jump on the BMX bandwagon. Cool piece of history! Hope someone can either confirm that ID or tell you that I'm wrong. My money says it's an AMF though.
