Strange Sear's bicycle , Is there anyone who may have some knowledge they can share about theses bikes, I don't have a clue on this I know it detaches in the center for easy storage or transport etc...

I really enjoy folding bikes, and i have always felt that the Sears Tote has some classic lines. I haven't owned one, but I think it is just as timeless as a Raleigh Twenty!

Yours looks to be in great shape!

I caught this on my local craigslist. There were two tote cycles in metro Detroit just this week and I just picked up the other one today which was a three-speed.

It's quite cool and unique in that it completely breaks into two pieces. Rides really well and feels darn stable. The plate actually locks in with some metal tabs before you butterfly bolt it together. Tabs are on the bottom so when your body weight is on the bike, it only locks it more firmly. Seems like a very well-planned design.

I'd be really interested in that guard, tnt, if the other fellow wasn't going to take it :D bought mine with an incorrect one.
