I decided to recover this saddle with leather scraps I had left over. Cut out diamond shaped pieces and sewed them together by hand. Cut out foam pieces in the diamond shape as well and glued on the underside. Polished the springs and painted the undercarriage. Im happy with the result.

I got this seat for free (sometimes free ain't free). My wife thinks its pretty.......ouch! I'll post the remaining in my thread build. I desperately need to come up with an easy way to cover this.
