Just to let you all know:

I just got thru shipping out a cycle via USPS and here is what went down. I kept the box measurement total just below 109 inches.
That's Girth (all the way around, not just the width folks) plus Length and make sure you do this on all bikes or bike frames shipped.
109 is your limit or your price WILL be high.

Use: Package Service parcel and stay away from 1st class shipping or your price WILL be high.

USPS is good for me cause their hub is close and I have NEVER had any glitch when using their services. I recommend them.

The frame I shipped was Lugged Steel w/ crank, fork, chainguard, seat post, and a chainwheel............. $20.96
simpleman shipped a heavy Elgin frame to me for............ $21.07

Use those guidelines, learning how to ship is key.
Example:
A rack or a tank, lights, petals can set you back $12 shipped in small shoeboxes. 4 items separate = $48
But all those items could be shipped plus many more in one large box (under 109 total) for about $20. See

SHIP ON!
