I always wondered how the "one piece cranks" hold up when bikebacking, they seen to have a certain "gap" where dirt n' debris can go inside. Do you have to clean them often?

Love the "Klunker wall" in the earlier post. You gotta clean them bikes when they hang on your wall :bigsmile:

This is the only bike I've ever built from the floor up, took over a year due to a LOT of circumstances. I am super stoked with the way it came out. Hope you all enjoy looking at it. :)

  • Brakes: 1960s Bendix RB2 36H
  • Pedals: Race Face Chester
  • Headset: Origin8 SSR Threadless Headset
  • Stem: Funnduro MTB Stem, Bar Clamp 31.8mm
  • Handlebars: Oddmonē Bar
  • Grips: Vans x Cult
  • Front Hub: Surly Ultra NEW Disc Hub Front 32h Black
  • Seat: Brooks B17
  • Wheels: Sun Ringle MTX 33 29"
  • Tires: Maxxis Minion (29x2.4 Rear, 29x2.6 Front)
  • *Fabrication on the rear chainstays/seatstays

This is a spare parts klunker I made, I used whatever I had laying around (that is a lot of parts in all fairness). It is a Hawthone frame, I think it is a 24" wheeled frame but I got 26" wheels in there.
