After eight years on second shift I finally got moved to third. That means working from midnight to 7am starting tomorrow night. I am staying up late tonight to acclimate myself to the new hours. I decided to spend some time in the garage this evening since it isn't 108° outside. The downside to a nocturnal build is that I have to keep the noise down, no power tools.
I decided to make use of a bunch of parts I have been sitting on for a while.
I have had this rusty, ratty chrome Roadmaster built Western Flyer frame hanging on the wall for a while, the 600w hub motor I pulled off my wife's trike, a big Wald basket, and the re-pop Columbia bars. I started throwing everything together and began to like what I was seeing. Once I took it out and that silent motor had me booking along the dark streets at 20 miles per hours I really began to like this new rat.
I will take some better pics tomorrow afternoon. We have a bunch of family and friends coming over for the 4th and I have a feeling most of them will enjoy this one!
