I'm new here, been building bikes since I was 12 or 13 years old.
My first bike was a Schwinn Apple Crate, kinda set the tone for the rest of my life when I won the bicycle derby at 8 years old.
Got heavily into BMX during the late 80s and early 90s, worked at and eventually managed Getaway Sports (bicycle shop) in Battle Creek Mi.
Grew up into a Machinest, not just tool and die, a machinest. I can engineer, c.n.c., manual, lathe/mill, grind, hone, weld, create anything, except wood.
I am a car builder, V-8 ...... I have a 1990 Mustang GT that only sees track duty.
I have a 86 Chevy truck with a 383 to haul the broken Mustang.
I have a family, love kids, a couple dogs, and a great big huge fluffy cat.
Living the dream (?) here in sunny Florida, building my bikes.
