Hey there, I had a pile of other parts and stuff so before cleaning up my shop me and my sons decided to make two more bikes - the second one is only lacking inner tubes, and seat brackets - will post that one later.

Here is bike we got at garage sale, and decided to redo real quick. It's an old ??? 26" bike.

It's painted a super sour-apple semi-gloss green, a can my wife had for somethng she never used. We pulled bike apart, cleaned, primered, replaced parts, and took handlebars off an old mountain bike, and forks, tires, seat out of the parts pile(s) we got at city dump, painted everythng, every nut & bolt black except frame - no chrome anywhere!

I had a can & 1/2 of old High-temp engine paint, so we used that - it worked kind of neat, after the paint dried it was real flat black, but when you rubbed it witha rag, it shined a little, so the black ended up more of a semi-glos, dull funky black - happy acident I guess.

Anyways, just sharing this build. Other bike has tripple-trees, and is pretty funky - a 20" bike - wil post those soon. Thanks for looking.

hey thanks for comments guys, the paint on this quick build is best paintjob I ever did, it was an oddball brand, but man it is smooth all over, and usually I ding things up on asembly, it is tough too! - guess I got lucky...

Anyways, found these handlebars on exercise biek at dump, so snagged 'em, painted black, etc. better? Cheers, T. :?:
