so I got my bike all put together, greased up, tightened up good.
this is a real mish-mosh 0f parts.
I started out with a 90's Schwinn cruiser frame. added a drop center real wheel with a knobby tire.
put some huffy forks on it. added a 24' Schwinn s-7 with a period correct tire on the front.
put my billygoat bars on it. added my homemade fencepost box on the back, and away I went.
got about a mile away and the wind started too pick up. and some ugly looking storm clouds were headed my way.
so, I turned around and came home! still, bike rides real nice.
now im having milk and cookies...and nap time!

Perfection is ok. But when you make something with your hands and with your heart it has more meaning to you. There is a certain amount of pride when you look at that box and say "I made that from stuff I have on hand". What rack did you use?

the rack was from an old varsity, was a child's seat. one of the old molded ones.

Oh okay. I thought it looked heavy duty. Having a "small photo" it was hard to tell. A while back I found a busted up kids seat. Since I don't have kids around I took the plastic seat off. I found out that it was a nice Blackburn rack. Some thing I mounted on a tour bike.

Nice, those bars are gangsta.
