i won't mention numbers, but it seems to me it's priced high, even for around here. but...i can envision it being the catalyst for starting, continuing, or finishing 3 different projects. give me a dose of reality before i do something dumb. thanks in advance for your input

Cool original bike. That would sell for $400-600. More if parted. The fork is worth $100 at least. The tank could fetch a pretty penny too.

in the nor cal area i would not think 1000 is too much to ask. those are super rare and original paint like that is money!!

Is the kickstand correct? Looks like it should have a dropstand and fender clip.

Yeah, moto version of a DX pre-war with tank and springer in OG paint, the North side of fortie Duckets for sure.

i'm passing on going to make an offer on this one. the kstand ears and the bumper mount to keep the fork from dinging the frame (i guess that's what it is, regardless it's just more frame clutter to me) may be good for schwinn collectors but not my cup o' tea for a klunker frame. anyway, it's still on the boulder (co) cl "1938 schwinn dx" if anybody is interested.......
