It is really nice to see bikes still made with the loving touch. I could look at lugs and filet brazes all day long. I have an Elgin frame that cracked on top of the BB. I took to a local framebuilder that is just starting out. He is going to fillet braze the joint and the top of the BB. It looked like the lug/joint was either welded or press fit then welded orginally. The new joint will match the rest of the bike.
