...but what are some companies that sell some cool, retro style beach cruisers?

I know about "sun", but would like some others to choose from. It's basically for a girl I know.

She wants "retro", but she also wants new, and I want to help her however I can.

Who do you guys recomend?

If nothing else there's always a Huffy Santa Fe or Cranbrook. They can also be Ratted easily. Also check out Schwinn, if you want quality and looks it's Schwinn all the way.

On a budget, go with a Huffy Cranbrook or Schwinn Delmar or Point Beach if you want a few gears. If you got the money, go with the Electra or Felt. Go to beachbikes.com and you can choose from a few different brands for something between the two ends of the spectrum. Keep your eyes open for yard sales and check your local goodwill stores/pawn shops, for you may find something for a good price and maybe something classic. Good luck and a very good question.
