Southern Idaho Desert

Some times the desert is mostly a flat rolling hills kinda thing. Then you run into this. About a 100 miles south of Boise. Nothing around here for 60 miles.

Then the Bruno River Canyon.

Was a fun trip, went with my neighbor who is into the Jeep thing.

Nice pics. The Owyhee area always surprises me. Some of the coolest rock formations and especially the canyons are breathtaking.

Is that just east of Riddle and Grasmere? I havent' been down in that area much. I have been down to Juniper Mt and the Owyhee River south of that quit a bit. Some of the best Chuckar hunting is down close to Murphy and Silver City area too.

South of Bruno, 10 to 15 miles off of Clover3 Creek road, a ways from the turn off to Winter Camp Road. Thats just west of the Sailor Creek Bombing Range... This is the warning sign...
