Spoke/Hub question...

Probably a dumb question, but I've never dealt with wheels too much...I want to switch to a coaster brake on a 26", 36 spoke wheel...I have one from a 20", 36 spoke wheel. What else do I need to consider...thanks. Roy

I've done that, You just need the right length spoke for the job. Mine were in the 258 to 260mm length. It all depends on the hub size to run a 26 inch wheel.

if the flange diameter of the hubs is about the same you can use the same spokes, if its a lot bigger you may have to get shorter ones or grind down the tips where they come through the nipples... :roll:
