Spoke tensioner

We all know this handy little tool:

but unfortunately that doesn't function well with 144 spoke wheels because there is just not enough room to twist it around...is there perhaps a smaller tool or gadget that I don't know of ? I don't want to use a Bahco wrench or such, and if nothing else exists I will make a little tool from stainless steel myself, but thought I'ld ask here first before doing so.

This will help my search to find something closer to home.
LBS are just too generic and uneducated these days...

Ofcourse I meant tensioning the odd spokes off tune with the tires on, and on the bike. I am too lazy to get the wheels out and the tires off to true them, as I only have a few spokes off tune at the moment :mrgreen:
