Found this on the Instructables site. Just a quick video on creating a down and dirty springer fork. I hope this has not been posted before.

a lot of slop in his design but those problems could be solved easily.

I think from the sound of it he was making it as rat as possible. I just thought the basic idea was good for a first timer trying to make their own.

The basic idea of making a homemade fork is a good one, but this :shock: . Rat should be rat, but still cool. this is just ragged.

It is a bit sloppy, but I've seen worse contraptions. I like how he made "another fork"... and then "kind of like an extra fork". When you have two forks, one is always extra, no matter how you plan on using it. I just feel like the design put the wheel too far forward, considering how far out there the original fork was already.

Needs shoulder bolts or locking nuts on the rockers. :|
