So, I just wanted a bike that I could go get a six pack with and not worry about it getting ripped off.

This is where i'm going so far.......

Found a '85 Schwinn Sprint at a garage sale for $10 and begun the build.

Rotten tires and a cassette that freewheels in both directions! Not bad otherwise - begin the tear down!

Pulled all these goodies off right away......

Threw the tires in the trash and sold the rims on ebay for $18 - ahead by $8 already!

Now I need a set of wheels, enter the craigslist target fixie for $30 and go figure, these sold for a whopping $35 on clearance last year.

OK, all I need is the wheels are tires - a cool 700c set up - for the Sprint. So I sell the frame to a local bike shop for $20. Now I am at $2 for the build!

Chop off part of the original Schwinn road bars.....
