Looks like the square wheel bike is a reality sort of. It gets complex but pretty funky looking.

Isn't it already hard enough to get new people on bikes now as it is, without making the experience even more challenging. Might as well just leave a pointed tube in place of the saddle and really cater to the masochists. :roll:
