"Standard" tank AND NOW FRAME

Does anybody recognize this tank? It is extremely hard to research a bike badged "standard". The only thing that might bring up more hits would be if it were badged "bicycle" or "old". I would love to know what it comes off of or might fit.

Don't recognize the shape.
Looks small as if it is from a child's or ladies bike.

Angles look wrong for a "lady's" model. The shape is very similar to certain Westfield built bikes, although I have not seen one exactly like that. Good luck.

I'm pretty sure its not of a lady's model but I have no idea beyond that. Could be for a 24 I guess??? It is 19 inches long if that helps.

I feel for you. I ran into a similar problem doing research on a bicycle called "Modern Special". Such generic names are problematic.

I found someone with this but he doesn't know much about it either. The tank is not exactly the same but its pretty close. Anybody recognize the frame?

could be european with the three piece crank.

It's probably German, or Austrian.

The guard has a Higgins look to it.
Maybe this was one of the German made Higgins bikes?
