Stolen Recovery

... took a part off a girls schwinn hornet a couple days ago, running late for a birthday dinner i left the bike outside and the next day the bike was gone :x ... asked the neighbors and nobody saw anything or for the most part even remembered what bike i was talking about, made a trip to the "big ditch" to see if got thrown there like the rest of the stolen bikes do but ... no luck. so fast forward a couple days and the grounds keeper for an outlet mall about a block away came by. he had been mowing the grass, found the bike ditched in the tall weeds and figured id want it and brought it over. "looke like your kind of bike" he said :lol: , he didnt even know it was mine. i still dont know the guys name but hes a pretty friendly guy, stopped me at my storage unit before asking about the bikes he keeps seeing me shove in there and take out, always gives me a thumbs up when he passes me on the mower too. so either someone from a hotel by my garage or the apartments by the mall must have went on a joyride :lol:

He left out the part about him pulling the bike out to steal a set of truss rods for me. :mrgreen:

Seriously relieved that the bike is back in your hands....the guilt was pretty heavy.
