stripping paint?

Planning to use an angle grinder with a wire cup brush for removing paint from bike frames etc. Any better methods out there that don't require expensive equipment?

I have used furniture stripper and many people use "aircraft stripper" from walmart with decent success

if you dont mind work 80 grit by hand if your in a rush an l head grinder with a roloc disc then clean all the joints with 80 by hand.

i used a sandblaster for the first time. its the best. 15min .

I just used about 1/2 a can of Klean Strip premium stripper on my build off entry. Easily took off all rattle can primer and paint, left commercial oxide coat from a sandblast job 30 some years back.

deorman. How do you think it would do on 40+ year old Schwinn paint with the alum primer? Working with old Stingrays.

I did a test spot on tje old solid blade Scjwinn fork I used last buildoff, wicj was still metallic lime &reen under primer and bur&undy, and it took it down to metal . (pardon my messed up keyboard :roll: :lol: )
