Stuck/sunken seat post puller.

I had a frame with a seat post pushed down into the seat tube so I had to come up with a simple fix. I tried using a piece of rubber tubing for the expander, but the post was too stuck. I used a piece of threaded rod, a piece of pipe that just would fit inside the seat post tube cut at an angle with a hack saw, a few nuts and washers and the handle from a dent puller (a piece of pipe or axle peg would work too). Tighten the top nut and the wedge expands the pipe just the same as a handlebar stem.

Excellent innovation! I'll try to remember that next time I run into that problem. If it doesn't happen for a while, however, I may not remember. Sometimes I walk into another room and don't remember why I went there. Have fun!
