Suggestions for new RR?

I scored this sweet Electra from a guy at the local swap meet for $30. He didn't know what brand it was, and neither did I to be honest, until someone on this forum clued me in. It is in working order but needs some TLC.
This is my first true RR, so I'm looking for some suggestions. I have some ideas already, including a bent springer. There is an amateurish paint job covering the original frame paint. Should I leave it as is or strip it and go over it with flat black? Should I leave the handlebar paint job as is? Get a chain cover? Add some extras like lights and such or leave it barebones?

I always wanted to do a blue bike, in this case i would leave the paintjob as it is, do the bentspringer(in flatblack, rough it up a bit too),
and replace the whitewalls for redliners. Would look cool imho.

change the thorn seat for a black bananaseat with matching roughed up flatblack sissybar. 8)

i say you leave it, i like it just like that. maybe a new seat, yeah, but thats all id do. if the paint bugs you that much, then strip it down and paint it the same color. :wink:

Loose half that handlebar and ride the :shock: out of it. It'll tell you what it wants. :wink:
