OK, "ern" gets 90% of the credit for this one, my latest ride. He built a sleek, streamlined piece of art out of a '57 RoadMaster that I fell in love with, and bought the second I found out it was up for sale...problem was, I ride all my bikes, and this one (at least for a guy my age!) was the two-wheeled equivalent of Chinese water-board torture.
Sooo...I made a few changes to make it my own - and rideable! - and chose to name it in honour of my beloved home town!
Let me know what you think:

I approve of everything but the streamers
But you didn't build it for ME did you?

Yeah, well, I wanted to throw in a little taste of "old school".
And no I didn't, but constructive criticism is OK when teamed with a compliment!

Thanks.
It's a powder-coating. Really came out nice - you can see yourself in just about every surface. Funny thing is, I realized after I took these pics that I'd spent the day at the beach with it and it was covered with dust, so it probably doesn't look as shiny here as it really is.
It's a little different, so I wasn't sure how people would take it, but I've been getting a lot of thumbs-up and "nice bike!". 8)

The reversed bars and old original saddle that was like a cinder block wedged in my backside, mostly!
(sorry - no offense, ern - it was gorgeous that way, just not rideable! )
Regardless, I love the look of this baby - he did an awesome job on it.
