Yuck. Cycling is getting a bit overdone because of this road bike boom. There is NO need for 11 speed (or even 10 speed). Shimano is doing similar crap with their chains and such (not to mention ANOTHER friggin bolt pattern). They are over designing and over engineering everything. :roll: It has really started to get out of hand.
There's going to be a time when carbon stuff starts wrecking people and we'll go back to the precious metals that have worked for decades.
The cycling industry is going the same way as the auto industry. I have worked in shops for 16 years now. We have to attend seminars, classes and training on how to fix BICYCLE parts! :shock: Although I know it is going to make me more money, it's really starting to bug me that they are specializing everything.
