went into Goodwill Saturday to donate some shoes, and low and behold there was a Huffy cruiser with alloy wheels and black hubs for $35.

loaded it in car... then swapped the wheels onto my old Louver Bike, and walla!... she lost a few pounds and looks a lot better than the chrome wheels did:

also took the chainguard and alloy seatpost off the Huffy, and today listed the Huffy on CL.

still not a bad bike after all I took from it:

I go to Goodwill and Savers here every week looking for something cool but so far I haven't found anything.
 
it took me about 5-6 years to finally see a bike there I'd buy. Usually just pink 20" girls bmx bikes.
 
You gotta love "Un-Builds" like that.
You get the parts you want and then sell the donor "un-built" for the same or even a profit.
