the '38 Roadmaster Rat is ready to sail

I bought this clamp-on boating flashlight on Ebay. Skip says I have the colors facing the wrong way. Any boaters know for sure? I don't want to get hit by a yacht in my starboard side on my next pub cruise.

this is one of those bikes that's going to get all kinds of stuff thrown at it. I found an old Pabst "Tapa Can" church key in my tool box. That got mounted with an air filter wing nut:

and a sticker Skip gave me a few years ago. was he trying to tell me something?

i think it needs some sort of unique horn or bell next. something brass would be cool.

Ian- on the stem of that bike, did you just drill holes in it? it looks really cool. kinda like a machine gun barrell

:mrgreen: a pre war roadmaster!!! you just became another personal hero of mine. i got a 59' roadmaster cruiser i rebuilt and i even use it to commute to work. you can find picts of it if you look back in the gallery to my 59' amf.

p.s. can i love in your shop?

elvis, yes, I just drilled holes and then chamfered them. I find drillium looks best when chamfered. gives it a finished look.

and ahhh, Roadmaster, I really hope you meant to type "live" in my shop. lol I'm a little uncomfortable with you "loving" in my shop. lol cheers

Is that a real Bianchi seat? If so I may need to trade something for it. I have my Mens Black Bianchi Milano that it may looksawesome on. Got any others pics of the seat? BTW - Love the bike! i like the personal custom outside the box touches. That one pic of the bike outside the shop ready to roll is AWESOME baby.... AWESOME!!!!!

that is a real Bianchi seat my friend, so far as I can tell. I was only person who bid on it on Ebay, which I thought was weird. It is a mattress style seat. I drilled the holes you see in the back. It came with a quick release seat tube clamp with a big "B" in it, that I am not using and don't plan to.

I miiiight be willing to trade it for something, but it's going to have to be pretty sweet. I'm not tied to it being a Bianchi seat, but I'm tied to the mattress comfort and look. So talk to me bud, I'd love to help you out. You've been super kind to me.
