Let me introduce you my new bike. It's not my built, but the works is enough cool to be saluted.
The idea was to go to the essentials. no bends, no convoluted shapes. just feeling.
first frame move :
The rear of the frame was modified, because this one was a little bit ugly.
So, the new rear tube and the seat tube showed the same angle as the fork. I like it better.
New move for the rear, the "original" X-country wheel plates were changed to custom plates :
Just some work to cutting them
The position is excellent. The fork works with a very reduced displacement (about 1 inch). It brings a bit of flexibility without "pump".
A new tube onto the frame was added for reinforcement.
new evolution : the tube under the crank has been replaced by a plate. and the frame receive a tank.
new wheels, new tires, a good painting job and the bike is done at 99%
after having a look on motorized chopper, the light has moved down a little bit
so now
next evolution, a integrated suicide shifter to replace the genuine one.
