Inspired by these guys- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljOcB7Si5dw

A few of us South Floridiots are going to run one of these events at the only hill in town this March. Yes, we have one!
So far there are 9 guys building cars, I wanted to get one done fast to hopefully inspire others to join in the fun.

This was I started with.....

And this is how it all panned out.

First dismantle it and name it.

Make a drop axle and tube chassis (lol)

Cut out the front end for the ol' legs, set her on the frame.

My buddy Eric hooked me up with some neat rims and tires for the rear

Install steering support and check out the front wheel situation.

Ratification of tub and Stuntman Mikes Death Proof logo and racing stickers to make it faster!!!

We got a roller! Can't keep the kids out of it! :D

A little axle support and drilled out for the "gasser" look.

Primed rims and some patina finish on the frame

Almost done...got to put springs on the brake lever and I got a Moon type tank for the rear and we're ready!!

i think its funny, when i look at your stuff because I see parts from the factory I work in!!!
(i'm the stryker guy, remember?)

Thanks for all the nice comments Guys!
I can't wait to take her downhill.
I'm sure there will be lots of pics taken that day, I'll be sure to share with you guys. :D

*****Okay TOMB....Your turn, I know you have the parts! LOL

Wow Kenny! I like the entire idea....

Your event in March... is it open enrollment? I'm in Ft Lauderdale right now, and just might want to bring my outlaw out for the day. do you guys have any sort of rules, or is it a race-what-you bring sort of thing?

Hey Dave. The date is not set yet. I will know on Dec. 30th which Pavillion we will have.
It'll be at Dyer Park, near Blue Heron and Haverhill in West Palm.
As of now the rules are.......4 wheels, brakes and a Helmet.
Other than that, anything goes!
The place we are going to do it is wide enough for side by side heat races.
We'll figure out details and stuff out as it gets closer, it's all just for a hoot.

Have you been to a Choppernite yet????

Wow GREAT! I love racing for Hoots! As soon as you have a date set, let me know..... I'm IN!

as far as Choppernite goes.... I don't recall attending. What is it?

Did everyone see the write up in HOT ROD about SFVISBF??

Pretty interesting.. should be a nation wide romp over the next few months as people get the bug.

Turned out .......' Kenny... very cool.
