"The Great Depression" - late teens? 20s? motorbike

got this yesterday and got home and immediately started tearing it apart. theres no headbadge. the sprocket is welded/brazed onto the crankset and it looks factory. there's no tab on the arm and no slot in the sprocket. the holes where the headbadge were are on the sides instead of top and bottom. any ideas what it might be? im building a fixie out of it and will be using it to commute on my 14 mile ride to work.

That's really cool. I like how the chainring looks sort of like a BBS spoked wheel.

I think it looks awesome as is now. Cool wheel set in a rusty frame. Grease the head set and bottom bracket, and ride!

I would grease the headset if I could get the stem out. bolt broke off inside it so now im soaking it in pb blaster throughout the day and torking down on it occasionally, no progress made yet.
