Shouldn't have....price was good, paint scheme was cool, interesting frame....couldn't resist. :43:

Post war Shelby Flying Cloud rebadged for another company....which I'm too Texan to pronounce. Missing the headlight and the tank.

What can you ballon tire nerds tell me about these pedals? :39:

Nice bike. The pedals look like Torrington #10's, they still make blocks for those. If the price was right I would have bought it too.

"C.B. “Red” Klinedinst opened his York bicycle shop, C.B. “Red” Klinedinst, in 1909.
Over the years, the business has sold motorcycles, appliances, televisions and furniture.
George Royer, Klinedinst’s son-in-law, became president of the business and operated the shop for 30 years, after Klinedinst died in the late 1950’s.
Royer died in April.
Georgia Freet of York Township, Klinedinst’s granddaughter, said she doesn’t plan to continue operating the bicycle shop.
“It’s like a store that time forgot,” she said."

The pedals are worth $80 and the stem around $100, so I am sure you got a good deal. :rockout:

Very nice paint! Stem is cool, not an everyday find.

Actually....that was just a guess from looking at the chainring and chain.

Rear facing drop out usually mean prewar in most cases, I'm not a big Shelby guy.

Ceebee might know
