I've thought about building a motorized bike for a while but never got around to it. I was browsing craigslist and there was this little engine from the seventies, it was just weird enough that I had to have it. It's in really good shape and everything seems to be there. It needs some cleaning, a new drive wheel, and probably the carb rebuilt. It's designed to fit on the forks of a bike, but should be easy enough to switch it to the back.

Great idea. That is a cool little engine.

You need Uncle Stretch to build a frame to fit that down below the seat. Maybe something without a seat tube.
 
looking forward to seeing this in the builds section
and i think cman might be onto something with the frame idea
