Did you finish that bike yet??

I have an identical 26" hanging in my rafters, even rustier though

90% done, had to track down a different frame and took forever finding an acceptable paint match. these reflectors and the decals are whats drove me silly though

Yeah, I find every excuse to checl the cl for anything, I purchased a schwinn heavy duty just for the wheels. Sometimes I'll see a bike that is just rusting away, and I think " What a rear rack, I should buy this bike" Oh well, I just need a bigger house is all.

yeah, i do this all the time. its like i need this one thing to complete a different bike, and i know i will use the rest of the bike for something. but then, i get around to doing something with the bike i just bought for one part and now need to find yet another bike to buy so i can now do something with the bike i bought for that one part in the first place. N+1 4EVER!

id say nothing is wrong with doing this and my wife is very tollerant of my bike issues. doesnt hurt to have two different locations at which to store all these bikes.

A buddy of mine bought a complete 40 Ford pickup just to get the chrome acorn nuts off the heads. You can still buy the same acorn nuts new without the 40 Ford truck. He was less than impressed when we told him.

Yeah like some in the living room and some in the spare bedroom.......keeps them pesky relatives from visiting, with a couple Elgins to have to climb over to get to the bed.
