I've had this Peugeot moped frame that I bought months ago. I robbed it of a couple of parts, and then tucked it in a corner. Eventually, I had the idea to build it back up as a regular cruiser bicycle, so that's what I did. I did some welding to put on a standard sized bike crank, although I had to use the crank from an exercise bike, because the frame with its motor mounts is much wider than a regular frame. The exercise bike cranks were wide enough to work around the steel. I then added the springer front end, wheels, etc. I think it came out well, and it rides very nice, actually. The rear suspension really adds something. I only wish that the frame would fit larger than 20" wheels, because it's just too small for me.

Anyhoo, here she is:

Nicely done...wish it was bigger too,maybe 26" :D

Nice Devan! Was that you over at vintage bikes today? I overheard someone talking about the oversized crank on a moped frame and when I read this it clicked haha   Have you tried fitting a banana seat on it?

That was me over at Vintage! I bought a used chrome stem for this bike, so that I could replace the black one on there, that doesn't really match.

It's funny you mention it, I'm not normally a fan of banana seats, but I was thinking that this frame would probably look pretty good with one.
