While picking up some Schwinn stuff, I noticed this bike leaning up against a fence. I asked the guy I was getting the bikes from if that was his too. He replied that it was a neighbors, but that he had moved away awhile ago. He had also left his old car behind. No one seems to know how to get a hold of him either! So there it sits. Maybe i'll check up on it every once in a while. Just thought it was funny. I've seen all different kinds of abandoned bikes before, but nothing like this!

Man, you HAVE to get that  Very,VERY, good parts

Yeh, I know! But I'm just not into midnight bike supply. Although that is probably whats goin to happen to it! I guess even his old landlord doesn't even have a forwarding address or phone#. The bike doesn't even have a lock on it!

I hear what your saying about midnight supply. but how long has it been sitting there? eventually it becomes up for grabs... the car on the other hand is a bit of a diff story in my book, auto theft can is big times. I dont know how it works in your area but here you have to send the vin off to gov and they try contact the last owner they go through some steps and if no reply they make it yours

you could also tell the neighbor to give the guy your number if he comes back and tell him you have the car because you didnt want it to get impounded

Is that a Schwinn Spoiler fork on there?!?!?!??

I snag it, just for that part!
You could always take it and if the neighbor returns, charge him a huge storage fee!

Cheers,
Dr. T
